Around Town
With so much to do around this beautiful town, you'll never be bored! Enjoy a hike, an ATV ride, visit the Community Center or attend one of our Community Events!
Barbour Falls
Barbour Falls, named after Harry Barbour who served as a Forest Ranger in the area for over 25 years, is an easy scenic trail. There is a short side-trail down to a pool and smaller falls, some distance above the main falls.
Bootski Lake
This rewarding hike leads to a small, beautiful, alpine tarn on the north flank of Mount Wapitik. It is surrounded by steep limestone slopes and spectacular alpine summits.
Holzworth Meadows
Holzworth Meadows is made up of a 15 km stretch of ridges and feels like endless meadows that barely shows any sign of human life.
Mount Reesor
Mount Reesor area offers great alpine hiking close to Tumbler Ridge. On the way to Mount Reesor there is a very unique feature at the top of the ridge; a barren stretch of brown shale known as the Caribou Highway.
Nesbitt’s Knee Falls
Nesbitt’s Knee Falls trail explores through a forest along a narrow pine needle cushioned walking path ending with a peek-a-boo view of Nesbitt’s Knee Falls on Waterfall Creek.
Pinnacle Peak
Pinnacle Peak is one of the most amazing rock peaks available in all of BC. This creates an amazing place to take award winning photography.
The Terminator
The pyramid shaped peak visible from the Core Lodge is known as the Terminator. This area is popular for summer hiking and winter snowmobiling.
